Retail copy, goto my documents then to BFBC2 then settings and then change DxVersion=auto to DxVersion=9

TBH I don't think you'll notice much visuals or performance, unless your system is really old

Playing in DX9 near enough doubles my fps.

DX9 runs slower for me. DX10 is more optimised.

Is this game by default Directx 11?

Would it detect ive got a 5870 and then use 11?

it will run a lot faster and look pretty much the same, I went out and bought a 5850 when this came out to play in dx11 and was left underwhelmed with the difference.

I tried it in dx9 when i only had an 8800gt, upped my frame rate a bit, since changed to sli gtx 275's so put it back onto default (dx10 in my case).

DX10= mouse acceleration which the tweaks dont even do anything. DX9= no mouse acceleration with mouse tweaks.
