i've heard the Logitech® MOMO® Racing is the best one, anyone got one to confirm ?

cheers :D

I love(d) mine (loved because now the pedals appear to be failing :(). When it worked it was absolutely fantastic, made racing games that whole step closer to being real, and felt so well built!

Really wish I could get mine working properly again (brake constantly applies itself about 10%), I want to play TOCA RD3 :(

/EDIT: They are now 3 years old though.

My MOMO does that sometimes. I can fix it by taking the pedal cable out of the wheel then sticking it back in while the wheel is plugged in. Or by changing the threshold of the wheel with a tweaking program out there, can't remember the name of it off the top of my head though.

Back on topic, the wheel is excellent, a great buy for me.

Only other wheel out there which compares is the Driving Force Pro, which is a PS2 wheel, that will work fine on the PC, and has a more realistic number of degrees you can turn the wheel.

DavyD, if you could remember the name of that program it would be MUCH appreciated. Mine also works again, if I unplug and re-plug the pedals back in, but only for a short time (usually until I stamp on the brake). Its currently making TOCA unplayable :(

I would have to argue that the Logitech MOMO RED is the best wheel around. Its must sturdier than the MOMO Racing and looks a lot better aswell.
Only problem is you can't buy then new anymore :(

Another vote for the driving force pro, it's a ps2 wheel but uses USB, so is easy to install for PC and works brilliantly.

Just make sure you plug it in properly.... (do a search if you want a laugh)

hehe cool thx peeps i do like the look of the driving force pro

i can't see why logitech don't say its compatible with a PC if it works perfectly for PC games

i'll be able to play a bit of GT4 with it too ;)

cheers

Get it!!!!

The build is damn good and NFS:MW on the pc is sooooo good

Peforms without any problems, just get the wingman software once bought and it's all gravy! :p

The gear change paddles and gear stick are the main problems I have with the DFP. That and compaired with my MOMO, the wheel is too thin.

Personally I would go with the MOMO, despite the possibility of pedal problems.

(And yes, I have both)

bah too late ordered the DFP only coz it looks better imo

is there much in it ?

i'd say you made the better choice, i've tryed the momo and i have a DFP much prefered the feel of the DFP(probably because i'm more used to it) plus you have the extra rotation.
i reckon the FP is the best wheel for resonable money, i mean you can get better but you'd be looking to spend hunderds of pounds for these.
witht he DFP it has good FFB, very comfortable wheel, solid build quality.

just remember to download wingman drivers when you get it.
think its version 4.60 at the moment.

www.wingmanteam.com

you certainly wont regret buying it.

For that amount of money i would take the Logitech Driving Force Pro (i think its that one anyways?) as it does 720 degrees rotation compared to the 270odd degrees of the MOMO.

you can go up to 900 if you wanted it, a bit over the top in my opinion, i generlly keep it between 360-540 depending on the game i'm playing and the FFB feel of the game.

Have a look at Logitech pedal tweaks , should solve your problem :)
