Im after a good MP3 renamer

I recently used Media Monkey. However it didn't tag automatically. I had to select each album then search the Internet for the tags. I'd reckon you want something that just tags everything for you by itself though.

at the end of the day, just buy the cd from an popular bookstore 2nd hand, then rip it using EAC

And then use an MP3 tagging program or type the song names in properly when EAC says that it can't find your CD in the freedb database.

Obviously Mr and Mrs freedb haven't heard of some guy called Mozart and a collection of banging tunes known as Mozart's Adagios. :p

And what happens when EAC doesn't recognise your CD?

never had that problem apart from with my mate's band!

-if i had music from dmpoole's band, then i might get the same problem :)

I use musicbrainz for all my tagging needs - creates a digital fingerprint of the track and compares it to an online database , can't recall the last time it got it completely wrong although you do have to watch it where the same track might appear on different CDs ie greatest hits or now thats what i call music type compilations .
