Picking one is like trying to chose your baby's name !
Currently have a s23 ultra on ID . contract is up Sept but won't be renewing.
I'm torn between the oneplus 13 and a used iphone 15 pro max
Not interested in another Samsung.. I'm on my 3rd and they're not all that.
Had a pixel 6 but left a bad taste after they refused to honour any warranty on a water damage claim when it has IP 68 rating and a cup of water got spilt on it.

Looked at the xiaomi 15 pro , but cost is getting a bit silly now.
Any other recommendations please ?
Looking to move to EE or 1p

Hah I've done it myself - you're 99% sure of what you want but you want a final sense check just in case there's some massive showstopper (good or bad) you hadn't heard about!

Turns out it was a Chinese rom flashed with a global rom. It works, kinda, but google pay doesnt work with the flashed global rom over the chinese rom and some apps dont work so am returning it. Its large like the s23 ultra. fingerprint recognition is instant , a lot of the oneplus apps can be uninstalled too unlike many samsung apps. Have found a UK seller of one so have just ordered it whilst awaiting a returns label from the original phone seller. phone also comes with a smart oneplus case too but i ordered a poetic revolution case for it as i work in the hgv industry it may need a little protection

Refund received. Found another seller , but again was a flashed global rom. Anyway my only true hope is buying from oneplus uk which I haven't discounted yet.
But another phone has caught my attention and it's the honor magic 7 pro. With codes is around the same price as oneplus 13.

OnePlus is the way to go used them since the Oneplus 3 then oneplus 6 then oneplus 8pro one oneplus nord 4 now but would have loved to afford the 13
.

Why do you need to upgrade? S23U is still good, unless like mine Samsung broke the upgrade software option.

Just get some cheapo monthly contract for £10pm

There's no reason, I feel I've been suckered into samsung a few times , all seem to be rated so highly but when I come to get one, they're not that good. There's over processing in the camera when I use the zoom, the phone sometimes hangs and freezes up.
And tbh I have just moved to a 1p sim only. 50gb for £10 . Still got the s23u .. I think I persuaded myself that u didn't really need an upgrade as when it came to order ... I didn't. Perhaps just saw sense

Nice, I'm on 120GB from Three for £12 p/m. I'm probably never going to use that though.

Other than battery life I can't justify upgrading, Been switching to the light performance profile for everyday use, still lasts a day fairly easily.

Ended up upgrading using Odin, quite a few users stuck on the April update for some reason, can also use Smartswtich to update, if you can get it to work. :)
