Well I am after finding the dog who poops on my front lawn

So I'm after a decent security cam i can stick on my window sill pointed towards my lawn, with the ability to record .

any idea's on a Camera. not crazy expensive that will do the job. under 100 quid please, something with activation woud be good

I'd ask in the CCTV Thread. Do you know if its an owner with a dog that isn't picking this up?

I had this at my last place once. I was working from home one day and I caught them. I ran outside and told the owner to pick it up immediately. Really caught him off guard.

When he tried to use the excuse that he didn't have a bag I replied with "That is not my problem but it is your dog and it's ****"

He didn't do it again.
 
Have a look at 'trophy cams'. I've used Bushnell ones a lot in the past to capture wildlife - you just load them with batteries and an SD card, point them the right way and leave them. They have a built in motion sensor, and will automatically record for a set amount of time when it gets set off. Also has night vision, so works great in the dark.

Just retrieve the SD card in the morning and see what it's got.
 
A 'Don't **** on my lawn, you're being recorded' sign at the dumping ground would be cheaper and less stressful.

Most inconsiderate people just need educating that they're being inconsiderate to stop.

A week of being dragged away from crapping on your lawn will be enough to remove the scent the dog feels compelled to retresh each time.
