I'm after some kind of multifunction display

This is quite a general question but I am after some kind of device which can combine all of the following functions in one little dashtop gadget.

Oil Pressure
Oil temperature
Boost
Air:Fuel Ratio
Any other OBDII displayed ata would be nice

I could do with all of those without filling the cabin up with loads of dials and gauages, if something could do all of those it would be great.

That's going to be the issue: the oil temp and pressure will require a new sensor as the OBD readout doesn't have one. I thought AFR was on most though? Nearest I've seen is the PSI3 unit, but as it's an OBD plugin it would need the oil sensor.

Beat me to it! Not sure if the linky below is the current model, but they will do everything you require and they look pretty cool.

I have a PSi3. For oil press and temp it requires Defi sensors which are not cheap. Not sure how it reads AFR - assume it picks up on a wire going into ECU as a AFR gauge would.

However, they have gone out of business.

Not OBDII but how about a Defi Link Controller II and Defi Link Display? This is the route I am going with my car at the moment. It can handle RPM, speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure and exhaust temperature and boost.

There are a couple of caveats though. You need external sensors plumbed in for everything except RPM and speed and the Link Display can't display RPM or Boost, you'll need separate gauges, ie. a defi link meter.

The advantage of this system is it's not dependent on (possibly failing) standard sensors so in conjunction with an OBD tool of some sort you can check for that, also you gain the ability to record up to 3 minutes of gauge activity and then replay it whilst parked up, which is handy if you're fiddling with a dawes device as you don't have to watch for peak boost while hoofing it down a test track.

I didn't know that - pity.

That one will only read from OBDII so won't cover oil temp/pressure/AFR in my case.

Futher down the thread the guy who owns it says

It gets all the readings from the OBDII port.
Water temperature, Oil temperature, Oil pressure, Battery Voltage, Engine speed, A/F ratio, Gas Mileage etc etc

Has he added his own sensors to enable those readings?

I think it depends on what the ECU reads as standard, if the car doesn't come with oil temp or pressure sensors (like mine) then the ECU won't be trying to read it and to rig up the sensor into the standard ECU would be a no go.

No idea how much it costs but someone over on Cliosport posted this up as a stack alternative that can do pretty much everything I think :)
