perfoverlay.drawfps 1 in console of bf4.
Post results before and after... and also make sure you check bf4 thread in PC games section, and join us for some good games...

Will do, before and after? With and without mantle?

I will do, I'm pretty bad at the moment haha, i can't get used to having 32 people on each team, i keep dying :(
 
Yep, ssd's are the only area PC's have really improved in the last 4/5 years. Everything else has been incremental. If you don't have an ssd, then it should be top of your shopping list.

I totally agree. I would never go back to normal HDD unless it's for storage. I still can't get over how quick it is

There is not an actual benchmark in the game as far as I know, but when in battlelog > multiplayer > Test range.

That gives you a map where you can run around in a tank and stuff, do that perfoverlay there on DX first and then switch to mantle (will require restart of the game) and than do the same tanks boats and stuff and see is it gives you better values. Also on youtube you can find a lot of videos how to optimize BF4 for FPS turning off some stuff you don't need...worth to look around.

Playing with us is always fun, you get a lot of help and team play with the game it takes a while to master it (I've got 600hours + on bf3 and 300h + on bf4) At the moment Bf3 is popular again and is played more then bf4 but I myself play both and a lot of good guys play too..also come to Teamspeak for good lols
 
Everything max settings .

DX11:

I got a max of 95 FPS and it dropped to min of 69 when blowing stuff up and driving around..

Mantle:

And the same thing on mantle i got max of 135, average of 115 i'd say and only dropped to 85.. Damn.. And mantle makes the games feel a lot better, more fluid like. feels much better.

I'll have to join you guys for a few games on night, i'll keep my eye out
 
Good, shame mantle is only supported by few games as of yet....hopes up tho :)
