I clicked on that "emo.. improfile.com <your email>" virus that's going round msn, off my sister no less. Any ideas how to get rid of it? Keeps screwing FF and IE up, says "cannot contact the host" or soemthing, but i can play cs and use msn fine. Any help appreciated, thanks
 
I put it in GD because i have to restart my PC every 5 minutes because the connection to t'internet screws up. Using EZ AV, didnt find anything. Uninstalled Windows Live, but the icon's still there. It like someone's hacked it, because a) the contacts window is wider, and it doesnt show anyones 'comment', and b) when you right click the little man, Msn home page is all in small letters when it's usually capitals at the start of each word.

Any serious suggestions on helping?

Problem seems to be ok for the time being.. it does help if i had my bloody firewall on eh?

Never ever click on a ............ never mind,too late lad :p
 
Try download one of the free AV's (or ones with a trial), Spybot S&D, etc

Or format...

As for the sister, she hot? ;)
If not proceed to kill her. :p
