hey,

finally after far too long away ive got myself another PS3. only the 40gig version but i got it for a good price.

anyway, ive been away for about 8 months i think so is there anything ive missed thats definatly worth picking up?

ive just got LBP again as for the short time i had it it was the only game me and the misses played together.

ive also picked up (or still got) the following:
Fallout 3 (was a toss up between this and oblivion but ive played oblivion in the past and from what ive seen this is supposed to be a must have)
LBP (had previously as said above)
Uncharted (never got this originally but heard nothing but good things about it)
MGS4 (had this before but never completed it so i want to do it)
GTA4 (held onto it when i sold the last one)
Singstar (mainly for the misses but a good laugh with friends)
TNA (held onto it from last time - not excellent but im a fan and trade in is so small its pointless)

so apart from the above is there anything thats a must play?

i was tempted with SF4 but never been addicted to a beat-em-up since tekken 3.

Killzone 2 if you like FPS games that are a bit different and enjoy MP games.
Infamous best single player game ive played for a while, just so much fun.
Dead space great single player only game plenty of atmosphere
Heard great things about the UFC game
Resi evil 5, try the demo but the game is better than the demo
Plenty of PSN stuff to go through such as
Flower
Pixel Junk Eden
Wipeout HD
Pixel Junk monsters
 
InFamous is the newest must have game. Shame Sony have done pretty much nothing to get its name out there. Check out Valkyria Chronicles as well.
 
ive heard a lot of good things about infamous when ive seen it about but heard nothing about it till when i was looking for a ps3.

only hope is i can still get onto my username as i no longer have access to the email i set it up with as it was an ntl account that was owned by my dad.
 
pick up killzone2 its brilliant mp. The single player game a bit slow to start but really gets enjoyable later on

Dead Space my fav game of the year :)

Uncharted is a must play game

im going to pick this up when its in the <£20 sections as im not a huge beat-em-up fan but do like the odd game now and then.

cheers for the ideas guys, ive been playing uncharted and must say im very impressed so far.

im also enjoying fallout 3 but the green text doesnt agree with me for some reason so im only playing it in stints at the min. *

i want to go back on MGS4 but with a 19 month daughter running around during the day and working night shifts i havent had the chance yet as i think the cutscenes require the chance to watch them if your to fully appriciate the story/game

*edit* noticed now that you can change the font colour so may get to play a longer stint later today

If you like FPS then there are tons still playing cod4 and not forgetting world at war aswell but i still play cod4 most of the time , you can look forward to the fallout 3 DLC that is coming soon so that was a good choice ;) .
