I'm back, possible upgrade time. Recommendations please!

In previous post... Thinking about upgrading in December but decided against to see what sandybridge had to offer.

I managed to get a second GTX260 216 core to run with my AMD phenom II 920 system with 8GB DDR2 800mhz RAM.
Also have a Patriot 64GB SSD.

My system runs fine, plays the games I want with no problems! Love using my nVidia 3D vision as well.

I want to upgrade because I'm still stuck with DDR2 ram and a low phenom II.

Looking at the 2500K with 4GB DDR3 and an Asus P8P67 mobo. Do I keep the 2 260s or upgrade? I want to try and keep costs to a minimum unless it's REALLY worth it.

Two GTX 260s would probably be similar performance to a GTX 470, so I see no need for upgrades there.

A motherboard bundle like that should be fine, as long as the board can do proper SLI etc.

Proper Sli as in x16 x2 rather than x16 and x4?

Actually read an article recently comparing PCI-E speeds and compared with x16/x16, x8/x8 only lost 2% and x16/x4 only lost 4%, which is less of a performance hit than a lot of people, myself included, thought
