The OP should get the retail CPU for the extra £6 as it has a longer warranty, retail boxing and includes a intel stock heatsink+fan.

All these things will mean the CPU is worth more should it be sold on.
 
Bit of a weird RAM setup I assume it must only be running single channel? I'd be tempted to rip out the Geil stick as you'll probably get (marginally) better gaming performance from 8GB dual channel compared to 12GB single channel.
