Hey All,

After two weeks in Italy, and 4 days in bed ill... I'm now back and folding for team ms9cw so back to crunching for me... internet and borgs are now at 100% as of 9pm last night...

Let see what we can do :)

Nah I dont think so... was alright when I was over there, but not over here, might or caught something on the plane since its recycled air...

I was visiting relatives, so I hope I wasn't doing any of them :)

welcome back to the fold - I do like Italy, got friend in naples but been else where too (rome, venice, garda, nice, and up in the mountains) the south is to hot for me this time of year, and winter is for sking :D

My grandad wanted to go to the festival this time of year, do knows why, its SO hot, really... my family lives in Naples thats where I went, but also went to Roma to see a couple of friends that live there...

Really - Napoli! were you staying up the hill (love them funicular) or in the suberbs.

And is that the festival with the saints blood?
We (wife and I) were their one year when that happened. We were working in the aquarium and helping the curator with her sea turtle research paper. And ended up walking back to our hotel through mass crowds of people :cool:

Anyway I trust all is well and vesuvius is not making angry noises.

Yes vesuvius was all quiet... we were just staying out of Naples this time in a place called Acerra about 10 minutes out of Naples in a flat there. We went to the Assumption is Avellino, its massive there, well all over Italy since it was a national holiday.

They are actually doing something to the square just outside the train station, I think that they are regenerating it, but its about time, it made Naples look SO bad when its the first thing people see off the train, lots of work going on there...

I have stayed in Naples before, I think that it was on the hill, but I was about 8 when I went...

I have fallen in love with Naples, and I'm going to go back next year :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH shucks thanks mate, its nice to be back, you wouldnt believe how much I missed the next, every time that I saw an internet cafe I just wanted to dive in but the misses and my sister wouldn't let me :(

@Stelly - I no what you mean about naples - odd but intoxicating! leaves you wanting more. and It's about time the Piazza Garibaldi was improved (dead fly biscuits anyone;))
Are the women whereing skirts/dresses again? (I know it's an odd question) We've been their 4 times now and Laura alway got 'looks' if she wore one (irrelavent of length) ended up only wearing shorts and tru's in the end :(

@ everone else - I know it not folding related but inside information on any european city is usefull - and I highly recomend everone here visits pompeii & herculaneum - truely justified in their world heratage status

I agree Pompeii and Herculaneum are amazing I went there before the Rome Forum, its so much better then that... you wouldnt believe just how amazing it is there :)

No Skirts at all... my misses wore one but it was down to her ankles, and didnt get a look at all... or was it that I was just perving at all the nice italian women in Naples... just wow... not a fat bird in sight :)...

I dont know why but I liked Naples better than Rome to be totally honest, like you said there is something about it that just hooks you... I dont know there is just something there... you just really have to see the place.

I have been about 7 but mostly when I was younger and have no idea what the facination with women was :) but it was cool to go back and see them and I will so do it again fantastic... I bought a SSC Naples top because its something I have always wanted to do since the days of Diego Maradona :)

Your really shouldn't put thoses to statments in the same sentance stelly - not good for your health ;)

Perving at women when with your partner is NEVER un-noticed (you have been warned) That said there is nothing wrong in appreciating the female form ;) sepecially your partners :D

Yer tell me about it, anyway they were both worse than me, you could tell when my misses and my sister were talking about men as they would look at each other smile and then make an excuse to talk to each other... something lame.... like a dog with two d*cks!!!

Yer my cousins have quiet nice girlfriends and they were all wearing tight fitting trousers, I remember one wearing a skirt for 5 minutes then changing... I left like a right dirty perv, I mean as soon as I walked in and all :rolleyes:

But they are all sound showed us around everywhere took us too a really nice beach (with black volcanic sand:))

Was a really good holiday
