Hey all,

Recently I've had my camera out a few times but not really taken anything decent but really want to start getting into the swing on things again however I'm feeling I could do with some new kit and my body being quite dated (400D) I'm feeling a new body and some new lenses will be in order.

Before I was limited on the lenses price so don't have anything that I wouldn't mind not being able to use so if the price different is right, I'd be more than happy to go Nikon however I'm completely unsure on what I want and what is out there. I'm going to go back to basics so probably go primes? 35 and 50mm? I want to try a bit of architecture photography but would very much like to get into some other bits.

Bit of a ramble but what should I be looking at?

Primes for lenses, not stupidly expensive...

Probably looking at a total budget of ~£600? Wouldn't mind a kit lens and a prime?

This is a complete back to basics, want to try and find something I like taking pictures of again, so probably still life, landscapes etc? (thinking quite a wide lens)

e; another thing, how is this mirrorless thing coming? Not really been looking much into it, but that really appeals to me... One of the things that put me off of photography is lugging kit about, the idea that I could have a compact camera with 1 or 2 primes really appeals.
