Hi everyone.

Old member returning to the forum after a hiatus. Life got hectic and priorities changed.

Looking to get myself back up to speed with PC hardware prior to building a new system later in the year. Last system was 4th gen i7 based (albeit with regular GPU upgrades until a few years ago), so I expect a lot has changed.

Intel have had a lot of issues with their 13th and 14th gen CPUs, so you want to be looking at 15th gen really - or for gaming, the AMD CPUs are doing very well.
