im based in northemptonshire, wheres the best place to try on motorcycle gear?

hey guys,

im now on the hunt for some quality motorcycle gear, i want some race style leathers and some decent helmet,boots,gloves to go with it.

i dont like the idea of buying online as i want to try it all on first, so where is the best place nearest to me to do this?

If you're up for abit of a drive.. Swindon is about 1.5hrs from you I think. They have Motorcycle Mega Store there which has loads of gear.

EDIT: sorry, ignore that it's 2hrs from you. Probably to far.

Take a trip over to these guys in Fengate Peterborough. Theyve got lots of stuff there.

There's a Bikers World (also a Suzuki dealer) in Daventry where I got my 2 piece textiles as cheap as internet prices and they're always happy to order in for you free of charge. The jacket I think may have been £20 more, but I told them that and they matched the price. They also have a really good range of gloves.

For helmets I'd recommend SportsBikeShop - they do free returns if it doesn't fit or if you're at all unhappy and the packaging is very good.
