I'm bored of Saturday night telly

Now the first response from most people will be 'don't watch the telly then, go out its Saturday!'

Well i party on a Friday...... (p.s. dont say party on a Saturday as well either.)

Anyway my question is, why is t.v. on a Saturday soooo crap!

If my girlfriends make me sit through one more episode of celebrity soapstar popstar ice dancing house makeover, i'll go mad!

Haven't t.v. producers already scrapped the barrel with the whole 'celebrities do stuff' kind of programs? If its not that then its programs about nobodies becoming famous.

They have indeed....but as long as there are mindless idiots paying them to make the programs they'll just happily trundle along on the bandwagon.

I really cant abide seeing any more "Reality TV". I want to watch T.V. for escapism from all that crap, not to watch some other poor sod have a bad time.
 
Saturday night tele has been total pap for a few years now what with celebrity this and drag someone off the street to do a turn that.

If I'm in on a Saturday night I usually have a film or summat stored on good old Sky + but apart from that I love a good book so usually end up curled up for a couple of hours with whatever I'm reading at the time.
