Afternoon all! - Been a while, good to be back :)

Basically, as titled, I'm clueless when it comes to laptop specs... I'll try to keep this nice and simple with what I 'need', so;

Requirement:
  • Games-wise, CSGO 1080p more or less max settings (though not too fussed really, so long as it runs smooth, i.e. 80+ fps constant)
  • Able to do some CAD work. Program being SolidWorks 2015

Generally not too fussed about the rest, but I'm expecting it'll need a Quad-Core CPU with a minimum 8GB RAM and 1TB storage. An SSD would be nice as long as it's big enough to put a couple of games on without bunging it up (like what's in my PC, a 256GB).

Battery life isn't important to me really, if it can do 4 hours without the plug I'll be happy, more is awesome.

Not listing a budget, I'm just taking recommendations, my mates at Halifax are sorting me out (don't worry I'm actually responsible with my Credit, a rarity to find nowadays).

Cheers in advance, hopefully see a few up within a couple of hours that I can have a nosey at!

Pick a budget mate, I can recommend the Dell 15 7559 as a solid and "budget" laptop that will do what you need and that is less than £700. If you have more than 1k I would recommend something else.

Choose an amount and we can go from there!

Thanks man. I've been looking about a little and seen that laptop crop up a lot - easy to add in the only real upgrades it needs from the basic spec too so think I'll be picking one of those up! Adding on my 10% discount I get with Dell... Happy days all round :) At the price it is, it out-specs anything I could find after hours of looking around (bar eBay, I don't get on with eBay at all).

Thanks again Biz :)
