Is my cpu idling at 30 or 40 degrees

Cheers,

I read on the piriform forum that the temp monitor for the latest version of Speccy is bugged, v1.18 is closer to the others. E-leet temps seem totally inaccurate, 10 degrees higher at idle and 10 degrees lower on load.

In the past, I've never really taken note of individual core temps, just the single cpu temp. Then again I've only ever built pc's with AMD chips, this being my first Intel chip since, quite possibly the 486 DX2.

Should I just ignore the single CPU Temp?

Never trust Speccy it is crap.

I only really use it for getting system information when fixing pc's remotely for people, getting the right drivers etc.

Yeah I like Core & Real, especially the Current, Min and Max temps, which are handy.

I find CPUID HWMonitor to be very good.

Also very good, thanks for that, I'm sure i've used this in the past ;)

Cheers
