But at the moment the prices seem a little disproportional. For example, you can pick up a 19" for as little as £110~ now, and even for a very good one you're only looking at spending £140~, but as soon as you get into screens just a few inches bigger you're looking at £270~ or more.
I've just tried a dual screen setup (apologies for the poor picture quality, my phone sucks) which I didn't get on too well with, but in the same respect it's not going to be the end of the world if I have to stick with my very good 19" CRT and awful 17" CRT for some time if the prices of 22" widescreens are likely to come down any time soon.
Basically; I don't mind paying £270~ for a monitor, but I'm not in a huge rush to upgrade at present so I'm more than happy to wait if a price cut is overdue!
