Im doomed with delivery this week!

Finally got through to city link, after stopping in all day, since the driver said he was reattempting delivery today....

yet when i phoned them up, my parcel is actually sat in the depot and i will now have to go pick it up.

shame i dont drive and its like 10miles away!

Did they give you a reason why they weren't attempting to redeliver? Sounds like fairly poor service to me

my mate said he will run me up at 6pm to collect it. which is a nightmare because ive sat in the house all day long!, and to top it off, i was bored of waiting so i installed Oblivion...

and ive just been playing it, having fun (it ran ok on my dated rig..) yet somehow when i leave the sewer section in the game, its crashing my pc

Nope, not City-Link, they only attempt once before holding it at the depot, which is actually more sensible than automatically redelivering the next day (anyone out at work on a Monday is really likely to be out again on a Tuesday). You have to contact them to get a redelivery.

sounds like a poor excuse to me, i thought their policy was 2 attempts before you had to go get it. When you're there ask for a word with the manager.
