Got me 8800 and Vista 64-Bit Pre which games in what order will be released first in DX10 and when will the DX10 download addon be released for COH?

Supreme Commander in 10 days is meant to be DX10.

Not straight off, its getting a patch soon after release, but not supported right out the box

FSX will get a DX10 patch soon. The SP1 patch is due in the next couple of weeks and the DX10 patch will be some time after that.

Game should look stunning in DX10, already looks great as it is.

It's sad to see so little software that is ready to advantage of DX10, hell I'm still waiting to buy a single game that is Dual Core Ready.

test drive unlimited will be dual core ready.. but I don't know if it will be worth buying. Played the first beta and it was fun.. but maybe a little boring after a few hours.

Am wondering what 8600 performance will be like compared to a 7900GT..

Quake 3 IIRC did dual core.

Silly comment there are lots of games already out there that take advantage of Dual Core.

No, it did SMP, and in most cases it actually slowed the game down. It was useful for running dedicated servers on my dual celeron PC's, but that was about it.

It was Quake 4 that got patched to take advantage of dual cores a while back.

Mis-typed, was meant to be Q4 :/ I couldnt remember if it did it or not though, cause I never really played the game.

Nothing that I want to play though, I'm more into sim racing.

I did say I'm still waiting to buy a single game that is Dual Core Ready, I'm not going to buy something I don't like just because it's optomized for Dual Core it has to be something I want.

The 100.59's work great with the 8800, and even enable SLi.

I just wish they would hurry and release a driver for pre 8-series GeForces to allow me to use SLi with my 7900's.

o_0 quake3 ran great with smp.
