Do you use Maya?

I do indeed.. Although i used to use Max back in my uni days.. And ive used a bit of Z-Brush and XSI in my time, but dont really get a chance these days.

I forgot too say great work.

I've been learning Maya for about 2 months now. Slowly getting there, things are starting to sink in now.

Nice work. My modeling is well thought of at Uni (never had lower than an A) but my texturing needs work on characters, UVW Unwrapping is a sod.

Dont forget to put only ** best works in your portfolio.. as no matter what degree you get its your portfolio that will get you the job. This is somthing that annoyed me as i need'nt hadgone to uni as you can learn a lot of art packages from home..

Plus if your looking for some art work fresh out of uni, give us a bell as were trying to get a graduate recruitment drive going.

Awesome, i've just started buying Edge. Read a copy at work from cover to cover and its great so since i've been buying it when its out.
Last months had jsut what i wanted an all... Wii!!

I know, I studied AVCE Art and Design at College and ended up confused with what they wanted, handed in the wrong thing and failed which was a bad experience, University wouldn't allow me in, after 45 minutes on the phone grovelling with 4 members of staff I was put through to the head of Computing and we had a discussion about why it happened (all college work had to be in Paint (not Microsoft Paint ;) ) and they wouldn't allow pen/pencil/computer which are my strengths, plus the paint was the cheap nasty stuff, he told me to put a portfolio of drawn work, still life etc... together over a week, I handed it in and he accepted me in immediately. It was annoying as I studied for 3 years at College and I need not have bothered in the end, especially as I didn't learn anything that I can utilize now (I learned Ceramics and Textiles as core modules along with Digital Imaging and Drawing) which was a waste :(.

Thanks for the offer, I have 2 friends who just finished, I finish next year and am definitely looking for work.
