I can cycle well - 50 - 100 miles or so. I'm quite muscular too and can bench 100kg.
I am 6" and weigh 17 stone 10 currently. I have 38" waist that feels tight. I had a BUPA heath check that said all my blood levels are good but I need to lose weight and my BMI is 35.
I have a tendency to get bored in the evening - long story - and I can eat colossal amounts of food almost uncontrollably. I can tell my girlfriend does not like me at the higher weight. I tend to go for booze more at weekends but I find myself having at least one drink every night.
When I do get a grip for a few weeks the weight absolutely falls off and I can lose a two stones in a month and go down to 35" waist. Doctor says a good weight for my height and muscularity would be 14-15st.
But I keep regressing and slamming on the weight again. I fear I am a binge eater due to habits explained above and need some help. I just can't get out of the cycle. One year I gained and lost a total of 12 stone with me varying between 16 - 18.5 stone. Goodness me, if I did not train I would be 20st plus.
Would appreciate your thoughts please guys and suggestions. Is it just just pig gluttony and I just need to get a grip? Please by all means call a spade a spade here.
