I'm getting so fed up with Impulse

Just got an email basically saying that the whole Ubisoft catalogue is on sale. I thought I'd at least have a look, you never know what gems there may be.

But no. Once again, "sorry, this item is not available in your region." Only THREE of SEVENTY-EIGHT titles are available to the UK, one of which is a DLC for a game you can't buy! It would be funny if it wasn't so bloody tragic. I wish they'd figure out a way of only emailing people about sales for games they can actually buy.

Edit: Link if you want to see the sorry mess for yourself.

Impulse are rubbish like that (regional thing). Only ever bought Stardock games from there. Now Gamestop owns it, it will only get worse I reckon...

Yeah the regional crap has always bothered me, but this one is particularly awful. I mostly only have Stardock games on there too, but I do have a few others from the one or two sales a year that are actually worth it.

Well, technically its not Impulse's fault, they would have tried their best for worldwide rights, just the companies won't let them/put a silly price on it, I'd assume.

You would think, but Impulse has been like that since day 1.

It is simply a sympton of rights and region. Xbox live is the same here in NZ, I can't purchase Risen from the UK even though my account and Xbox is from the UK as my region isn't allowed by the publisher, instead I have to purchase a $129.99 version or try and import one from the UK. Steam is the same here too, although NZ pays in USD but certain things still cannot be bought.

It's Impulse who sends the emails though. I do understand the concept of regional pricing and all of that kind of rubbish, but it seems Impulse can't be bothered to tailor their emails. That's what's irritating me.
