Members are allowed to give away codes outside of that forum. Some may prefer to do this as you can only access the above forum if you also have access to the MM.

It is generally encouraged that the giveaways forum is used however as it was created to help cut down on instances of people taking codes and then never responding to say thanks or confirm that they had taken the code.
