The changes to the SETI at home enhanced project have made it impossible for me to continue running it on my main laptop,





So I'm folding again :D

Rich, can I get added to the single machine crunchers list please?

I'll still be looking for little green men with my iccle baby server.

That WU is worth 178 points and by the looks of it, it'll take around 30 hours to complete (still a bit early to tell).

Get yourself FahMon and you can monitor your clients progress and get WU information :)

Edit: and welcome to the dark side :D

Edit#2: Beaten :(

I based my estimate on the second frame as the first frame is usually a bit out and the WU takes a frame or two to settle down.

cheers me dears, but it may be a bit late for a welcome to the dark side seeng as I'm currently ranked 24 in the bestest team of all TEAM 10 :D

I think I've only dropped about 5 places in all the time that I've been SETIing

Now that you mention it, I seem to remember stomping you recently :D
 
GAH, i AM SUCH A N00B, I'd installed the F@H service in my temporary internet files folder, rebooted my machine and my clever script cleared out my temp web files folder DOH!

Sooooo I downloaded the client and started again in a more sutiable directory this time.... :(

is one, non 24/7 3GHz P4 laptop with a single client running going to slow my descent down the rankings?
