A friend of mine at University told me that the way he makes his chips is:
Chops the potatoes into thick slices,
Place in an oven dish,
Smother with oil,
Salt and pepper,
And roast for 30 minutes or so at 220C.
I love the taste of chips from the 'chip shop' and i'm looking for alternative recepies, perhaps with other spices? What would you recommend as my spices knowledge is very limited besides salt and peper.
