im having a problem with vista 64 ultimate

my pc has been running fine for ages but today when i started it up i noticed that all my shorcuts that were pinned to the start menu were gone, i pinned them all again, restarted and then they were gone again

i also have a problem when i go into my games folder, before i could just double click the icons to launch a game & right click gave me the usual list of options..

now when i double click them nothign happens and when i right click it does nothing the only way for me to launch a game is to click it and then click the play button at the top of the window

well for some reason its fine again now, i installed the new nvidia drivers,did a restart & it kept my settings i doubt the driver had anything to do with it but at least its fixed
