Im having problems installing MSI based files

Hi Guys, im running windows media centre on my current machine (sp2 i believe) now i have had this problem on a machine before but i cant remember how i got round it.

Basically I cant install MSI installer files, any ideas on what i can do to rectify this little issue?

You may need to update the Windows Installer.

I think sidethink has got it. Its deffo the Windows Installer service. Its either been disabled or you need to patch it.
