If this is true. Shall I run my mem at stock speed, Then I can have my old 1gb in there too??

Defcon5 said:if you run memory in all 4 banks, you will lose your 1T command rate, which is the main one, so its probably not worth it comaored with the gain from the extra GB. People were flashing performance increases of 20% in some apps when going from 2T to 1T.
Just try each divider with the lowest timings you can, some will perform better than others. 2-2-2-5 @ 200 might be worse than 250 2-3-3-6 for example, as the jump in bandwith is much larger than the drop in latency
speedy2004 said:Ok just tested it on 206x13.5 at 2-3-2-6 1cmd and 253x11 at 2.5-3-3-7 1cmd, and the 206x13.5 is about 1500 points lower on 3dmark01 SE
speedy2004 said:Sorry got it a tad wrongInstead of setting it to 253x11, I had it set to 256x11, so the cpu was running slightly faster. So I tested it agaiin running at 253x11 in 3dmark01 and now its about 1300 higher then running it at 206x13.5.

Using the .5 dividers increases the CPU speed but not the memory speed IIRC.speedy2004 said:I dont understand about the dividers, so I leave well alone. Im on s939 not amd2.
