I want a 1080ti but I'm waiting for a EVGA 1080ti FTW3, my quandary is I can get a EVGA 1080FTW2 BNIB with 3 years warranty with EVGA for £450, I game but not a great deal on a Dell U2715H, do I buy the 1080 or splash the extra cash for the 1080ti when its released.

I wouldn't buy any ACX 1080, The reason they replaced them with the still unreleased ICX models is because of problems with the ACX ones, They're now reducing ACX prices to move the stock no one wanted at top dollar. I wouldn't go near one. There's plenty of better models about, The EVGA ICX is the obvious one.
It is the ICX model, that's why its called the FTW2.
