Okay, I have the following which I purchased here a while back...

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3P (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

I'm now looking to get a little more RAM added in but have noticed that there is PC2-6400 RAM rather than PC6400C4 RAM... what's the difference and if I purchase some PC2-6400 RAM is it going to work okay alongside my existing RAM?

It is fine PC2 is DDR2 ram so if you can try to get the same timings I think yours is 4-4-4-12 then they will work nicely together,
