I'm looking for a laptop that is compatible with my bed !!

yep, you heard right , basically I need a laptop that I can use in bed and leave on the duvet without overheating or the fans going into overdrive, I know they exist because my old e-system laptop used to sit on my bed for hours, sometimes all night even with no problem at all and the fans were barely audible, my budget is around £500, I would prefer cheaper though tbh, I don't mind cheapy laptops, must have wi-fi, that's all really.

I appreciate the suggestion and I have been thinking about the Eee but has anyone got any recommendations on full size laptops/notebooks first that I could consider before going down the Eee route, cheers.

Dell m1330? Mine works great on bed no overheating unless you're playing game.

A second hand one with pretty decent spec can be had for <£500. There was one in mm not so long ago.
