I'm looking for a new computer case.

My Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 is far too loud and ugly for me (although some might argue it suits my personality well... hue hue hue).

I have:

- P9X79 PRO Motherboard
- 3 hard drives
- 2 ssds
- 1 Blu ray drive
- 1 Titan X GPU (but would like to have space for 2 GPUs just in case)
- 1 pci-e sound card
- I think I have this heat sync: Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator and Fan Quiet CPU Cooler
- Enermax Galaxy 1000 watt PSU

Max height will need to be 60cm due to my desk. I do not need wheels as I rarely move my case.

I love the look of the NZXT H440 razer edition but it does not support a disk drive.

I hate faff, so any cool "make it easy" features are welcome.

Max budget £320

Main goal is to keep it quiet.

Any ideas?

Do you think the https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-enthoo-luxe-glass-midi-tower-case-black-ca-065-pt.html will be quiet compared to my current case?

Wow, thanks. Super helpful. Just watched Linus's review and looks awesome.

I am a little worried about the top 2 fans making too much noise. What do u think?

That Phanteks Luxe kicks the R5's backside! There is no comparison there. I think the R5 is decent, but it's too expensive for what it is, especially with an acrylic window. You could also consider the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M. If you care about aesthetics, glass side panels really do destroy any case with an acrylic window. The Luxe is perhaps overkill unless you're planning a custom loop. Alternatively, if silence is a priority, check out any of the BeQuiet range.

Lots of good cases these days.

Got the R5, nice case overall, one issue would be the space for water cooling (meh), and fitting a fat AIOW on the roof (space to top of motherboard reduced). The form factor is slightly unusual. It's a little bit larger and longer than most (steady...), but not as tall. Also why I selected it to fit under an awkward desk.

Really quiet, nice looking, good features. Front panel section feels a bit flimsy though.

These days, would probably go with a Phantek.

i had the r5 and now i have the pro m, no comparison in build quality mate, i agree it looks better but the r5 in quality/noise is better but also costs more, there's also the nano s.

Having had the Fractal R5 then now the Evolv ATX, I found myself prefering the Phanteks quite a bit (much more expensive case, I know). The Luxe looks like a nice case too, but I have no experience with it personally.

If silence really is a priority however, I would concur about considering the bequiet range.

Hope that R5 works out well for you regardless!

So i fitted the computer into my fractal r5. It's much quieter than my vomit inducing Antek case. Thanks for the recommendation.

It's not completely silent... but i think that's more to do do with my Enermax Galaxy PSU fan than the case's fault.

Once again, cheers all.
