I'm after microparticles for a project I'm doing. I want a good range of sizes of particle between about 4 microns and up to 100 microns, the majority being between 10 and 40.

I've looked at materials catalogues like goodfellow but it's all too expensive (starts about £1 per gramme). I also asked at a clean room to see if we could get some stuff out their filters but they say it will be too much hassle.

Any ideas? Doesn't matter what material it is.

Thanks for the smart replies. There have been only two decent replies to my question.

I have found a graph on the british sugar website - icing sugar mean size 24 microns, max about 11. Ideal for what I want. Thanks.
