hiya,
im new to creating websites, i have done freeforums and clan websites but they are all done with easy admin panels, very easy, i now want to move onto a website.

the site i want to create is something to do with the gaming world.

new games, game reviews, clans advertising ect, after a while should be very popular being in charge of a clan myself i have a rough idea.

so im baiscally totally new to the coding thing.

what host i should use ? (whos good, easy and not to deer), thats the biggest question i have.

allso id be very happy if someone offered to give me a little teaching over msn/xfire/aol/aim or something, about some of the basics, that would be awesome.

hopefully some of you have good idea of what im talking about ;)

thank you.

Talk about learning to run before you can walk!

I've you've never created a website before outside of using a host's control panel, are you sure this is the type of project you want to take on?

I wouldn't even be thinking about hosts yet; install a free web server that you can test your code on locally, before you commit to buying some webspace. After having a dabble with creating a website and start learning how to program one, then think about spending some money on it.

Regards getting help, there's plenty of people around on these forums that will point you in the right direction :)

my answer to your biggest question for my 2p would be vidahost, dogs danglies mate :)

however i would echo everyone elses thoughts... to some people web design looks easy but it takes years of experience to really know what you're doing in my opinion, a game review style site is a big project, you'd be competing with the likes of gamespot, IGN, etc... at the end of the day you have to decide why people would go to your site over those and if you can find a reason, have the skills to push it like mad...

either way best of luck... just dont go thinking it will be an easy ride...
