.. I hate it when people say that. Seems every other person utters this overused phrase. Another one I hate is 'bring your A game'. :(

I'm sure there's a few more of these horrid clichés some of you might dislike?

I'm not gonna lie, I don't feel you've brought your A game with this thread.

A lady with a clipboard stopped me in the street the other day. She said, ‘Can you spare a few minutes for cancer research?’ I said, ‘Alright, but we won’t get much done.

I don't mind that one.

My colleague often says " I'm not being rude..." which, ironically, has the effect of turning even not-rude statements into rude ones.

At the end of the day, I’m not going to lie. To be honest it is what it is, with all due respect. I’m not racist, but everything happens for a reason.

Very good!

Or 'I'm not being funny mate..' True, you're definitely not making me laugh.

Person at work says "sort of like" about 3-4 times a sentence, I guess it's some form of impediment, but it's damn annoying :(

There's another one, mostly american used but brits as well, "WHAT-IS-UP YouTube!" *puke*

I fell your pain on that one. I had a bit of a rant about it a while back in another thread. :D

What the **** is this new thing where people playing games feel the need to have themselves overlayed on the video? It's ******* retarded. I just want to watch the gameplay. I don't want to sit gawping at your ugly mug wittering on. Also, while I'm in rant mode, what's the hell is this thing where everyone has to start a video with "what's going on?" or "what's up?"?
