I have managed to find someone willing to sell me a Scalextric C335 Parmalat truck.

She might not seam much to you lot but she is my holy grail, and Ive finaly found her. Im spending my savings on her

Thats a very good price, Ive seen them on ebay go for about £180

I'm geeky over quite a lot of stuff.. but it's like people who buy action figures and keep them in the boxes.. mine come straight out and onto the shelf - That's what they're for!

This truck is a fully functioning scalextrix model... so why not use it? Seems a shame not to, imho.

People who do that really annoy me, at least in the context of my particular hobby of model railways. They buy a fantastic peice of precision engineering and then... sit it on the shelf for its entire life to gather dust.

Utterly pointless. Like buying a Classic Jag and leaving it in a garage for its entire life.
