Ive got a qx6800 running at stock and after reading all these threads aobut temperatures im a bit scared my temps are to high, ive got a Coolermaster Gemini 2 with 2 sharkoon 1000 fans on it and my temps are according to coretemp at around 55-60 idle and around 70 load, ive reseated many times and its still the same temperature, real temp says its around 40 idle and 50 load but im scared my temps are to high, should i just buy a new cooler and hope for the best, its in a coolermaster v-690 dominator with loads of nice 120mm fans. if you think i should get a new cooler, what cooler should i get??

Bios says roughly the same as realtemp, however real temp reports my T junction as 85 whilst coretemp states its 100 which one is correct, im quite scared as summers coming and temps will increase :S

I've been looking in to the the ole T-junction max recently and the temps that are given are educated guesses at best.
Intel did not release the info for it's desktop processors just the ones for the lappy's. Coretemp and everest seem to show the same T-junction max where as Realtemp is set 5c lower.
Realtemp is suppose to provide the most accurate reported temp if you feel inclined to calibrate it and your system as according to it's documentation.

If you have a T junction of 100c on Coretemp then knock 15c off your idle and load temps.

Your T junction should be 85c and not 100c.

So your really looking at 40c-45c idle and 55c under load which is not too bad.

Just ignore your temps unless you get instability. You're not even overclocked, so I don't think you've got anything to worry about.:)
