I'm set to upgrade so spec me a phone

Samsung are releasing a new model next month, the P300 i think its called. Looks very cool, like a retro casio calculator. Is so thin and with all the mod cons - my mate at uni has bought one from a competitor who import from France. Will try to get some pics later - is the sexiest phone I've seen since the 8850 wowed me all those years back

Yes its nice and small (credit card type size)

But man its fugly

Nokia 8800 is still the best looking phone you can buy imo

i admit its a very 'marmite' phone - love it or hate but having seen it in the flesh i really was impressed. i had the 8800 for a couple of months when it came out but the resale value was just too high to justify me keeping it
 
indeed, thats the way it's looking - going home tomorrow and i will prolly just try my hardest to forget about it - can imerse myself in my interpretative Dissertation (2nd year project) over the 4 weeks of easter :o

I would, it's been 'coming soon' for about 6 months now :p
I know CPW are hoping April sometime but we're still believing it when we see it.
 
I'd wait a month or two at the moment before upgrading. Handset launches have been few and far between over the last few months, but over the next couple of months there quite a few expected to be available.

There are new handsets from Nokia and SE expected, along with a few others.

I'm planning on getting the imate SP5, you think there will be something better in the near future?

I assume you are getting it sim free? AFAIK the iMate SP5 is not available on any UK network. I want that phone myself :p
