im shocked at my insurance quotes!

hey guys,

atm im getting my mito evo MOT'd and taxed for the year as well as sorting insurance.

its my first road bike but really?
MCE are the cheapest with £396.85 a year tpf&t but with a £975 compulsory

all the others are around £6-700

have you guys got any tips/tricks to get cheaper insurance?
i personally think its ridiculous pricing

got it down to £332.05 but still got £975 compulsory

yep tried bennetts, and gocompare/confused

looks like im going to have to go for MCE and be bloody careful for a year to get that NCB!

Suppose I've just got to suck it up for a year until I get 1 year NCB and most probably get my full licence by then

It's the 975 compulsory that puts me off, other than that I'm happy with the quote.

Can insurers remove compulsory?

I've got a quote from KGM using complete bike cover, tpf&t £352.38 with £250 excess.

I'm going to go for it I think, anyone used KGM before?
