As for the IceQ, despite what I've said, I don't know if I could justify £300 on that when you could get a 280x for less.

ED: Even then, I'd struggle to justify spending that much over a 7950 given the fairly small difference in performance.

Cant seem to see any mention of it above, but isn't there meant to be 770 ti in the pipeline, that hopefully uses the GK110 Kepler and not the gk104?

I'd personally wait for that or atleast wait for some solid benchmarks before getting a 770 / 280x
 
I think I've decided on a 280x or 7970 Iceq ghz edition. I've been reading the 290 is meant to be about 500 pounds and I don't want to spend that. What would you go for? That 7970 has good OC abilities I think.
 
I've had a hard look at it mate and looked around and ordered that IceQ 7970 Ghz edition, it comes with 5 free games as well!

A few people have said there's a slightly better performance on the 7970 I'm getting, it's cooler and has better OC potential. It's a great card right?
