I'm looking for a monitor with very specific requirements.

First off, this is why, I display via HDMI to my amp, which then outputs to a HDMI splitter going to both my 50" plasma and my 24" mon.

The plasma comes on for gaming away from the desk, yummy.

I need a monitor that does the following:

24"
Strict resolution of 1920x1080 (not x1200)
60hz (59 is a no)
IPS preferable
HDMI

The cheaper the better really.

Thoughts?

That is a damn fine suggestion!

I am currently running this: iiyama prolite e2409hds

It's great, when running at 59hz, but sadly my plasma is too black when it's run at 59hz. 60hz is it's native and best option :)
 
I'd have thought you'll be forced to use reduced range colours doing this - not sure how many monitors are happy to deal with this? Unless your TV is happy with 0-255
