I'm stumped... please help

Yesterday morning when I went to switch my pc on it refused to boot, it didn’t even post or anything, just sat there. So I went down stairs to get a screwdriver so I could have a look inside and see if anything was a miss. When I came back up and tried to switch it on it worked, booted up fine and worked perfectly for the rest of the day.

Now, this morning I went to switch it on again and once again it didn’t boot, I’ve just taken it apart and made sure all the connectors are securely in place and everything seems fine. I’m pretty sure that it must be the PSU as I can’t see what else would cause it but what I don’t understand is how it managed to boot up yesterday and stay on for the whole day. I’m a bit stumped, so have any of you guys got any ideas what could be up?

My specs are

Hiper 520watt psu
Asus A8N-SLi SE
7800 GTX
2 gig giel value PC 3200

If it's not powering up at all I'd defiantely suspect PSU. Sounds like it was on it's way out yesterday.

disconnect the fans and see if that works
I had this happen with a bad amber, just totally random

Loose connection in the power switch mabye

Found an old PSU lying around and I just stuck that in and it powers up fine so I guess the hiper has had it. Now to find a reliable psu..

i have had the same problem, my hiper modular sometimes does the same but it happens on my dvd writers, i just move the powre line and it works fine
