Im sure your bored of this .. but advice on spec :)

Hi all,

I have a p4 2.8 running on an asus p4g8x del mobo i got in 2003 so its time for a new setup

Im aware what case / gfx card im getting but i would like some help on the CPU / RAM / Mobo.

So here is what i have so far

CPU :
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS4 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

RAM:
Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C5 Dual Channel Kit (CT2KIT12864AA667)

PSU:
Antec NeoHE 430W Modular ATX2.0 PSU

Now my only fear is the will this all work together

especially the ram.

i have no budget restrictions - i also have no desire to overclock (dont flame

) i will simply plug it all in turn it on and install windows

so any ideas/ comments?

Yep, it'll all work fine. Although I might reconsider the PSU if I were you...what graphics card had you in mind?

What do u think the problem with the psu will be? im after a silent model if possible and open to suggestions.

the system will have 1 hard drive 1 dvd drive 1 gfx card so wont require to much juice i was thinking.

GFX card well it would be either:

how about Enermax Noisetaker 370W EG375AX-VE(G) SFMA ATX2.0 PSU (CA-005-EN)
or a Enermax Liberty 400W

both seem to do what i want - will they work ok with my choice of mobo and gfx?
