And getting a new Xbox

I sold my other one (Arcade) earlier this year as I didn't really have time to play on it. I only used it to stream stuff from my PC to the TV to be honest. I have been without it for going on 9 or 10 months so I have missed quite a lot of things.

There are loads of deals out there and all being well I have been paid enough so I can get it tomorrow, providing the shop has them in stock. The one I am opting for it the 4GB one with Forza, FIFA and Battlefield at a good price of £169.99 plus I have a £10 giftcard to. So that will lower the price a little.

Is there anything I should know about the newer slim Xbox?

I am going to try and get MS to give me back my old gamer tag if I can. I rang them up to cancel it once I sold my old console. All being well I could get it back.

Get the one with the bigger hard disc. Especially as you are getting Forza.

I am pretty sure that Battlefield needs to have components installed to HD for improved graphics meaning that the only choice is an Xbox with an HD. Unless anybody has installed to a USB stick?

Just got the MW3 limited console for £1.47 including saints row the third lol sold MW3 out of the box 10 minutes later for £30 and my MW3 controller that I had anyway I sold to a guy behind me in the que for £20 (only cost me £22 anyway). Traded in about 15 games and my old elite.

BF3 does need (I say need if you want it to look even remotly nice) a HD texture pack installing, You can play it with out HD textures but kind of pointless doing it that way.

Not sure if you can install them to a USB stick though

£147.99 and you've got yourself a 320GB 360, grab some cheap games and when you've got the cash pickup the newer games!
