i have been searching online to see the prices i can find a xbox live card for and so far the cheapest i found is £32.40 for 13 months but the seller says they will email the code

on the one hand this would be better than paying postage and waiting for it to arrive but at the same time it seems that something isnt right about it

has anyone here bought xbox live this way? :confused:

I usually go on ebay and just get one of there. Last year i paid something like £24 for 13months.

Seller emailed me the code within a hour of winning.

It's fine, absolutely no problem purchasing a live code this way.

Also if you pay by paypal you are protected against fraudulent sellers etc.

i dont use paypal but now i know that its pretty standard procedure for codes to be sold this way im sure i can trust the seller

they have 99% positive from 1245 ratings

Not true. If the seller withdraws all funds before you put in a claim, PayPal will refund you nothing.

I don't think Live is worth the money I may stick to a silver account when my Live subscription runs out. I like to play games online but all games over live seem to lag like hell even though I was using 10mb connection. I assume this is due to Microsoft not hosting servers forcing the players host the games and you never know what kind of the connection the host has got.

the only reason i got it was because a mate of mine recently got a 360 and i wanted to play some online games with him

im still waiting on my code tho but with a bit of luck ill get the email soon
