iMac 24" and Eve online

Will the 4850 on this machine cut it when it comes to playing eve-online with maximum eye-candy? Does anyone run such a setup?

EDIT: Are there any rumoured iMac updates around the corner? Should I hold off a while?

Well I don't know about maximum eye-candy but I'm sure it'll handle the new client without any problems. There are people playing using Macbooks with grotty graphics so you'll be fine.

I've not seen any rumours, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. If the current spec is what you're happy with then you should buy now otherwise you'll be waiting forever.
