Hello,
I've had my Mac for a couple of months now only previously I have started monitoring the temperatures and fan speeds due to installing quite a range of games and demanding programs. Now the other week I installed World of Warcraft 5 Disks, 3 Disks, 1 DVD Rom and another DVD Rom.. so the hard drive, optical drive etc were in demand for over an hour at least on a warm summers day. The hard drive for 40odd degrees, CPU Heatsink A? was 60-70odd.. the cores were hovering at 50-56 I wasnt too fussed although I was playing WoW the entire night last night and the hard drive was hitting 53degrees my room isnt like an oven at all 19-21c ambient temp. The issue im having is my system is still completly silent I have turned the fans on full just to check the noise level and temperature drops this is all fine but surely high temperatures like that cannot be all that great over a long period of time the fans dont seem to speed up, can anyone share any light on these concerns?
