iMac 5k question regarding ram

hi all,
I just pushed the buy button on a new iMac with 16GB (2x8GB)of ram.

Does anyone know the exact ram that comes with the iMac so that I can buy another 16GB and add to it.

All I know is that it's 1600mhz ddr3.

I've just upgraded mine, funnily enough. DDR3 PC3-12800 1.35v. Apparently 1.5v should work ok too but there's plenty of choice and little price difference at 1.35v.

It is also ridiculously simple to change too.

To be ultra clear, it takes laptop RAM (SO-DIMMs).

There won't be any problems mixing it with the already installed 16GB ?
Was thinking of getting some crucial stuff.

This is what I pulled out of mine;

Mixing RAM is generally advised against, if at all possible.

This. You'll probably be fine, but there isn't a guarantee.

Mixed memory in my last iMac and it was fine though but really that's no bearing on the matter.

Yep, mine is mixed (upgraded by adding Crucial) with no issues.
